Indonesia is new emerging country in Asia. Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country in the world and the third largest democratic country. We are the proof that Islam and democracy can live together in harmony. People in Indonesia can show their opinion independently and we have our own freedom. 89% population in Indonesia are Muslims but Government recognized 5 others religions and make 6 religions' festival days as holiday. We are moderate Muslims and most of us are open minded people
15.347 islands, 237million peoples, 350 languages and customs, 6 official religions, but we still live in harmony because our motto is Live in diversity. Come to Indonesia and feel the vibrate of unity in diversity !!

Our Clinical Electives are offered for foreign clinical medical student around the world. our program offers 4 weeks for intensive clinical practice and training for incoming students in The Central General Hospital Dr.M.Djamil (RSUP Dr.M.Djamil) in 4 departments ; Department of Internal Medicine-General and others subspecialties, Department of Surgery-General, Department of Pediatrics (General), and Department of Ophtalmology.


Clinical Electives are designed in 2 programs :
a. IFMSA Contract Clinical Electives

You had already contacted your IFMSA-related organization FIRST. your National exchange officer (NEO) of your country would make an contract with NEO Indonesia in SCOPE IFMSA regulation and bylaws, then, NEO Indonesia will arrange you to do clinical clerkship in Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University/ Dr. M Djamil Central General Hospital

You enrolled directly to our faculty as a visiting Clinical student who has interest in Clinical Electives in Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University/ Dr. M Djamil Central General Hospital
